Do I need to be technical to use Crispy?

Answered by the Crispy team · July 17, 2026

Quick answer

No. If you can chat with an AI assistant, you can use Crispy - you ask for what you want in plain language and it handles LinkedIn. The technical options exist if you want them, but they are never required.

Crispy is described with words that sound technical - API, MCP server - and that puts some people off before they start. Here is the reassuring truth: you never touch any of that unless you want to.

Just talk to your assistant

Day to day, using Crispy means chatting with an AI assistant in plain language: find these people, clean up my inbox, send this person a message. The assistant does the LinkedIn side. There is nothing to code.

Setup is a few clicks

Getting started is signing up, connecting your LinkedIn account from the dashboard, and adding Crispy to the assistant you already use. It takes a few minutes and no technical background.

Power under the hood if you want it

If you are technical, the full API is there to build with. If you are not, you will never need it. The same product serves both - you choose how deep to go.

If you can describe what you want in a chat, you can use Crispy. The technical layer is optional.
