How to connect your LinkedIn account

Connecting takes about a minute. Crispy signs in to LinkedIn on your behalf and keeps that session alive so your AI tools can act as you.

  1. Sign up at crispy.sh and pick your plan. After checkout you land on the Connect LinkedIn step automatically.
  2. Enter your LinkedIn email and password. Credentials are sent over an encrypted connection and used only to sign you in. We never store your password.
  3. Check the connection location. Crispy auto-detects a country, but make sure it is the country where you normally use LinkedIn, not where you happen to be right now. A consistent location keeps your session stable and avoids security flags.
  4. Click 'Login and connect'.
  5. If LinkedIn asks for verification, enter the code from SMS or your authenticator app, or approve the sign-in in the LinkedIn mobile app. The connection only completes once this step clears.
  6. You will see 'LinkedIn connected!' and move straight on to the quick start step.

When it works, your account shows a 'Connected' badge in the dashboard. If your account has Sales Navigator or Recruiter, Crispy detects it during connection and those features are available automatically at no extra charge.

Prefer not to type your password? Click 'Connect with session cookie instead' at the bottom of the form and paste your LinkedIn cookie. See the session cookie article in Account & Connection for the walkthrough.

Common mistakes:

  • Picking your current travel location instead of your home country.
  • Closing the form during a verification challenge. Nothing is connected until the challenge is completed.

Pro tip: after connecting, ask your agent for your account status. It calls get_account, and a healthy session plus your name coming back confirms the whole chain end to end.
