How invitation sends are spaced

The default invitation cap is 15 per day. There is no separate hourly allowance. You can set a lower cap in Security settings. Crispy rejects an invitation cap above 50 per day. If your cap is 35, you can send 20 in one hour.

How sends are spaced

Each invitation waits a few random seconds after the previous action on the same account. That keeps sends from going out as one instant burst. Nothing else throttles invitations you send yourself. Campaigns still spread their own sends across the day.

What happens at the cap

Once you reach your daily cap, further invitations are declined until the counters reset at midnight UTC. Nothing is queued, so send them again the next day.

What it applies to

Invitations you send directly, through an AI client, the CLI, or the API. Campaigns spread their own sends across the day. Both draw on the same daily budget, so a busy campaign day leaves less room for manual invitations.

A higher cap allows more invitations that day. LinkedIn's User Agreement section 8.2 prohibits unauthorized automation. The cap does not authorize the activity and these controls do not guarantee against restriction.
