Strategic Commenting
This recipe finds recent posts in your niche and drafts comments for you to approve. Crispy cannot delete a comment after it posts, so review each one with care.
When to use this recipe
- You want to take part in LinkedIn discussions without writing your own posts
- You're just getting started on LinkedIn and have few followers
- You want to comment on posts by well-known people in your field
- You want to review every comment before it goes live
Steps
Find active posts
Search for posts in your industry from the last 7 days. Search has no popularity sort. Your agent ranks the results by their comment and reaction counts.
Example prompt
“Search for LinkedIn posts from the last 7 days about "AI agents" and about "GTM automation". Pick the 5 posts with the most comments and reactions. Skip ads.”
Leave thoughtful comments
Your agent drafts a short comment for each post. It posts only the comments you approve. This approval is an instruction in the prompt. Crispy does not enforce it. Crispy cannot delete a comment, so you must remove one on LinkedIn yourself.
Example prompt
“For each post, show the author, a one-line summary, the link and a draft comment of 2 or 3 sentences in my writing style. Include one specific point. No pitch. Do not post anything until I approve each comment. After I approve, post only the approved comments with my edits.”
Count your comments
See how many comments you posted through Crispy each day. This count does not include comments you posted on LinkedIn directly. Crispy cannot measure the reach of comments on other people's posts.
Example prompt
“Show how many comments I posted through Crispy in the last 7 days.”
