Pacing a new account
New or freshly connected LinkedIn accounts should ramp up gradually. Running at full capacity on day one is the classic way to get flagged. Start small, build a natural usage pattern, then scale.
Use the built-in warm-up
Crispy ships a 14-day warm-up ramp. Ask your agent to start it; it calls manage_outreach_settings with action 'warm_up' and op 'start'. While warm-up is active, your effective daily caps start low (a few invitations a day) and step up automatically every day until they reach normal levels around day 14. The ramp covers invitations, messages, profile views, searches, engagement, and posts.
Check progress anytime with get_account: it shows warm-up status next to your daily limits and session health. Need to end it early? Same tool, op 'stop'. Your normal daily limits apply immediately after.
The normal daily limits
Once ramped, the default daily caps per account are:
- Searches: 300
- Profile views: 250
- Messages: 150
- Invitations: 15
- Engagement actions: 100
Limits reset at midnight UTC. These defaults are conservative and safe for most established accounts.
Extra pacing controls
- Set a min and max range per category with
manage_outreach_settingsaction 'limits'. Crispy picks a value inside your range each day, so volume varies like a human instead of hitting the same number daily. - Restrict the sending window with action 'business_hours' so campaigns only send during working hours.
Common mistake: skipping warm-up because the account is old. If it is newly connected to automation, the activity pattern is still new. Warm-up is about establishing that pattern, not the account's age.
We recommend running warm-up on every new account before launching campaigns at full volume.
