My account shows 'Disconnected'

A 'Disconnected' status means the session between Crispy and LinkedIn is no longer valid. LinkedIn expires sessions on its own schedule, so this happens periodically to every connected account. It is normal maintenance, not a sign something broke.

Your dashboard shows one of three states on each account card:

  • Connected: everything is healthy.
  • Session expired: LinkedIn invalidated the session and the account needs a reconnect.
  • Disconnected: the account was disconnected and needs a reconnect to resume activity.

How to reconnect

  1. Go to your Crispy dashboard.
  2. Open the affected LinkedIn account.
  3. Click 'Reconnect' and sign in with the same LinkedIn login. Credentials and the session cookie method both work.
  4. Complete any verification LinkedIn shows (a code, or an approval in the LinkedIn mobile app). The reconnect only counts once that step clears.

Reconnecting restores everything in one pass, including your Sales Navigator session if you have one. After reconnecting, allow a few minutes for the session to fully initialize before running actions.

What happens while disconnected

Actions on that account stop until you reconnect. A stuck campaign is often just a disconnected account, so check the dashboard status first when something stalls.

Verifying the fix

Ask your agent for your account status with a live check. It calls get_account with verify_session set to true, which probes LinkedIn directly. If the session comes back valid with your name, you are fully reconnected.

Pro tip: reconnect through the dashboard flow itself. Signing back in to linkedin.com in a normal browser tab does nothing for Crispy; the reconnect has to go through the connect form.
